Austin Delights

If there’s anything I love more than RVing, it’s food. When the two are combined, it is just magical. So imagine my excitement when I discovered these Austin foodie delights built into converted Airstreams.

I can’t get enough of Gourdough’s South Austin outpost: clever name, fun servers, and that menu! These are some serious doughnuts so come hungry. While you’re savoring the Granny’s Pie doughnut (my personal favorite), don’t forget to check out the shiny beauty this doughnut shop is housed in.

I’m still making my way through the Hey Cupcake! menu, which is not a terrible way to spend free time. These are delicious cupcakes made even tastier by the sweet SoCo location. Having a good day? Celebrate with a Hey Cupcake! treat. Having a bad day? Turn it around with a Hey Cupcake! treat. It’s a win-win.

The Vegan Yacht on Fruth Street has perfected the Chili Dawg. And the Mock Chick’n Wrap. And the Freeto Pie. Seriously, meatless Freeto Pie! Can it get any more fun than that? This is a simple menu of delicious vegan dishes served out of a shiny Airstream. What’s not to love?
