Ingredients
- 3 c. shredded cheddar
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp. freshly chopped chives, plus more for garnish
- 1 c. lager beer
- Kosher salt
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- Baguette
Directions
- Wash and dry the produce.
- Mince your garlic and chop the chives, adding more for garnish as needed.
- Build a strong fire and lower the grate.
- In your cast-iron skillet, combine the cheese, cream cheese, garlic, most of the chives, and the beer. Season with salt and cayenne pepper to taste.
- Cover the skillet with foil and set on the grill over the fire.
- Cook until the cheese is melted and gooey. Approx. 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, slice the baguette and grill the slices over the fire until just charred.
- Serve the dip hot with the baguette slices on the side.
