At Fun Town RV, we like to gather fun desserts for everyone that are minimal steps but maximum fun! Here is another set of recipes that you can bring with you on your next trip!
Cinnamon Campfire Roll-Ups
Ingredients:
- 1 Crescent Roll Package
- 1/4 Sugar
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- Package of skewers
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar
- pull apart the crescent rolls, then wrap around the skewers
- After wrapping, roll them in cinnamon sugar
- Cook for 5 minutes while rotating frequently
- Use 1/4 powdered sugar and 2 tbsp of water to turn into a glaze to pour over the roll-up
Campfire tart
Ingredients:
- 1 store-bought biscuit
- Fruit pie mix
- Spray whip cream
Instructions:
- Wrap the biscuit dough around a metal cup that can handle the heat of the fire
- Toast and rotate until the desired toastiness
- Fill with warmed-up fruit pie mixture
- Put whip cream on top and enjoy!
Campfire Eclairs
Ingredients:
- Skewers
- Crescent rolls
- Foil
- Vanilla pudding
- Chocolate syrup/frosting or spread
- Cooking spray or butter
Instructions:
- Prepare pudding ahead of time
- Wrap the foil around a skewer
- Spray it with cooking oil or use butter enough to make sure it can come off easily
- Wrap a crescent roll around it and close it off
- Rotate until golden brown
- Pull it off, fill it with pudding, and use your favorite chocolate spread
Campfire Apple Pie Packets
Ingredients:
- Apple
- Butter
- Cinnamon
- Brown sugar
- Any add-ons you want to have
- Foil
- Cooking spray if need
Instructions:
- Preheat grill to medium
- Cut foil to the desired size, at least 12ins
- Place apples on the nonstick side along with the rest of the ingredients
- Seal it carefully and place on for 15 minutes
S’more Calzone
Ingredients:
- Ready-to-go pizza dough
- 2-4 candy bars
- Marshmallows
- Crushed graham crackers
- Powder sugar
- Vanilla ice cream
Instructions:
- Cut out even among circular disks
- Add as much chocolate to the dough disk
- Place marshmallow and press down to flatten it
- Use a second disk to cover or fold the dough in half
- Crimp the edges
- Place on floured cookie sheets
- Set grill to 375 F or medium for the oven
- Brush them with butter
- For oven cooking, 15-20 minutes on parchment paper
- For the grill, 2-3 minutes per side
- Serve warm with ice cream and dusted with graham crackers and sugar
