What’s one of the most important additions to any RV? The generator. Without a reliable generator, you will eventually be sitting in the dark, eating near spoiled food from your fridge and shaking an angry fist at the sky because your lack of a functioning water pump is ruining the tranquility of your on-board bathroom.
OK, yes that is extreme, and “YES” we know that most RVers understand the need for a good generator, but how long are you going to go before you decide to replace that struggling old generator with something much more efficient and quieter. How do you choose the right generator for your RV? Check out the video below for a little advice.
The bottom line is that you are going to have a much more pleasant camping experience with an efficient and silent generator. Yeah, you are going to pay more for it, but trust me, a loud obnoxious generator just ruins everyone’s weekend. You can expect to spend between $1,500 to $1,900 for a really great generator. However there are others on the market that aren’t as expensive, you just have to decide if sending a little more is worth not having your neighbors angry at you and your screaming power source. Do a little research, or if you have any questions about any particular manufacturer you can always give us a call at Fun Town RV. We’d be happy to talk about the right generator that best suits your needs.
