If you’re like me, you enjoy spending time outside of your RV. After all, that’s why we travel, not to spend time inside the RV. I can do that when it’s parked in my driveway. I want to get out and explore the park, hike the hills, swim in the lakes, and see what the world has to offer. With that being said, I don’t require an abundance of high-tech features or options that I will never use. I’d much rather have a functional, quality-built RV that is comfortable for those short amounts of time when I am in my RV catching up on sleep or avoiding the weather. Enter the Coachmen Apex. Creature Comforts
With the Apex, you’ll get a high-quality, lightweight trailer that fits your needs for a fun family vacation. You’ve got plenty to choose from when it comes to floorplans. Are you looking for 2 queen-sized beds or futons for your party to sleep on? What about 30 or 49 gallons of fresh water? Maybe you’re looking for an 18′ as opposed to a 34′ long travel trailer? Or something in between? It’s all up to you when you’re picking out the layout of your new Apex. No space goes to waste and you’ll find just about everything you could possibly need when you’re heading out for a long weekend.
One of my favorite standard features of the Apex is the pass-through storage. I like carrying my gazebo with me during the summer to avoid the Texas heat. Instead of lugging it inside my RV and getting years worth of dirt and grime all over the carpet and furniture, the exterior pass-through storage works extremely well. Plus, I like to carry my fishing poles with me wherever I go, just in case I happen upon a good fishing spot.
Optional Upgrades
If you’re looking for a little more bang for your buck, take a look at some of the optional packages that add quite a bit of value to your Apex. The Elite package gives you A DVD player, 24″ TV, slam latch doors, a hot/cold outside shower and more. For even more additional upgrades, the 50th Anniversary package is right up your alley. Led interior lighting, a high-rise faucet, a power tongue jack, LED awning lights and more!
Roadside Assistance
Any new Coachmen owner gets 1 free year of Travel Easy Roadside Assistance. That means if you have a breakdown, need a town, a tire change, fuel delivery, jump-start or a mechanic to come where you are and help you get back on the road, it’s all covered. I can’t think of a better solution to help me sleep at night. Just knowing that they’ve got my back in case I end up stranded is a huge bonus for me!
