Vacation season is here and it’s time to start thinking about where you’re going to take the kids. The lake, mountains, and beach are all great options. There are always extras that you should pack in your RV to make your life easier and more comfortable, not just for yourself, but for everyone in your party. Here are a few recommendations I have for accessories that will keep you comfortable and make your life easier on the road! A Good Comfy Chair
Once you’ve set up camp and need some down time, a comfortable chair is a life-saver. A zero-gravity chair is designed to be the only chair you need to take with you on vacation. With a powder coated steel frame and an adjustable head rest, it’s guaranteed to make you want to spend some quality time out under shade and enjoying the outdoors. It even folds up to just 5 inches thick so you can carry it along with you whenever you go to the lake and it doesn’t take up much space in your RV. This one is a must have for me!
Extra Storage
Sometimes when you’ve packed your RV to the brim, you need to just a little bit of space to carry a few extra things. A cargo carrier that you can mount on the back of your RV is a perfect addition. Do you have a grill that you want to take along for the ride? Why not just stick it on the cargo carrier and strap it down! No more hauling it inside and worrying about it shuffling around while you’re driving. Cargo carriers are perfect for coolers. If you’ve ever hauled around a cooler of tasty beverages, you know that they are notorious for leaking water into your RV. Keep it outside in the cargo carrier!
Backup Help
If you own an RV without a backup sensor, you know how hard it is to maneuver it around without knocking into telephone poles, cars, other RVs. After all, our houses on wheels are larger than our cars and we need to be careful when we’re backing up. A high-quality backup camera is just what you need so you can see what’s behind you. These cameras can be mounted on the back of your RV and send the pictures to the LCD display wherever you mount it! Stay safe and keep your RV in tip-top shape. Your insurance company will thank you as will your pocketbook!
Evening Fire Pit
There’s hardly anything like spending an evening out by the fire with some great friends and family. When you’re out on a campsite, it can be hard to find a place to start a fire safely.
