RV Packing Tips

A successful RV trip starts with successful packing. Some travelers may pack more items than others, but there are certain camping essentials that every road trip needs. We’ve created the following packing list to make things easier for you.

For the Kitchen

To avoid heartache and just an all-around mess, it’s key to load your kitchen with non-breakable dishes that fit inside each other. You don’t want to bring a bunch of mismatched dishes that have to take up separate space on the shelf, and you’ll definitely want to stay away from your fine yet fragile China, which will break all too easily if a sharp turn makes the dishes go flying.

Collapsible dishes like colanders and dish drainers save a lot of space. It’s also helpful divide bulk items into small, labelled containers.

For the Bathroom

Of course, you shouldn’t take your entire bathroom inventory into your RV with you. Just settle for things that you use daily, and if there’s a few things you might want to try while on vacation, pack it in a travel size container.

In your bathroom’s storage area, be sure to stock RV toilet paper and cleaning supplies to keep your toilet and sink clean and odor free.

For the Bedroom

You’ll want to be sure you get the most comfortable pillows, sheets, and blankets for your bed, as vacations call for a relaxing bedroom.

Also, take the clothes that are easy to clean and dry. Generally, keeping your clothes simple is the best way to ensure they mix and match easily, which’ll give you plenty of different outfit options.
