Between San Antonio and Austin, about 4 hours South of our headquarters here in Cleburne, there’s a little town called San Marcos. There you’ll find one of the best water parks in the country, natural wonders and plenty of reasons to come back!

Cool River Ranch

There’s hardly anything more relaxing than floating down the river on an inner-tube. Getting away from all the stresses of daily life and letting the river take you along with the current does wonders for having a relaxing vacation. Grab a few friends and family members and enjoy a day full of live music on the bank of the river and new experiences to be had.

Natural Bridge Caverns

For a great time spent learning about the natural formations of the earth, Natural Bridge Caverns is the way to go. You’ll spend your day exploring the largest show cavern in all of Texas, zip-lining high above the Hill Country, and getting lost in the outdoor maze! Bring the kids and the entire family with you and you’ll learn about the formation of the cave and get to experience what it’s like to go gem & fossil mining! You might want to get here early, because you’ll need the whole day to keep from missing out on anything.

Rio Vista Park

Situated on the San Marcos River by the Rio Vista waterfalls, you’ll find a beautiful area to kayak, cook-out, swim, and even surf! You’ll find plenty of outdoor activities in Rio Vista! There’s also a basketball court, tennis courts, and hiking/biking trails.

Wonder World Park

If you can’t get enough of the natural beauty that surrounds San Marcos, then you certainly need to make it a point to visit Wonder World Park. There’s plenty of fun to be had while learning about the formation of the caves that you see! Not only is it a spelunker’s dream, but there’s also a Anti-Gravity House, a Mystery Mountain, and an observation tower, so you can get a bird’s eye view of the surrounding areas.

The Meadows Center Glass-Bottom Boat Tours

Take your family and friends for a ride they won’t soon forget. Observe the living creatures that live under water in Spring Lake that you won’t see anywhere else. There’s also hundreds of bubbling springs, archaeological sites, historical landmarks, and more! You’ll be amazed at what you’ll see!
