I think, as both an RVer and an avid dirtbiker, the toy hauler is one of the greatest developments in the RV industry. For years I labored for the right way to combine my two favorite things in the world. Every time we took the RV on a trip, I HAD to take my bike. Let me tell you right now, that it got to the point where I dreaded loading everything up. It was way too cumbersome. I literally had to take the packing and loading process in two phases. First I’d gather all of the riding gear, the extra gasoline and the bikes. Then began the process of wrangling my bike and my wife’s into the back of our truck and securing them. Then we had to pack the RV, making sure the load was even, hook up and hit the road. That took on average 2 and a half hours for a simple weekend end trip.
When the toy hauler hit the market, it was like all of my silent prayers were answered. It was the perfect combination of comfort and utility. It gives us a place to live, eat and relax, with the added bonus of storage for the bikes, tools and any other things we need for a good weekend riding. In fact, the thing that I really like about the toy hauler we got from Fun Town RV, other than the amazing convenience, is the simple fact that I can work on my bike in a comfortable space regardless of the weather. There is plenty of space for tools and parts, so that’s a giant bonus right there too. Did I mention that loading and securing your “toys” is a snap? No more muscling the motorcycles into the back of the truck, or leaving them at home. It’s as easy as driving up and strapping down.
If you are an RVer and motorsport enthusiast and don’t own toy hauler, you owe it to yourself to consider getting one. It’s not a “one-size fits all” trailer either. There are many sizes and floorplans to chose from from almost every trailer manufacturer. It’s just a matter of finding what is right to fit both your RV needs and your motorsport lifestyle. Check out Fun Town RV for a great selection of toy haulers to choose from.
